Get Ready to Dance!

Posted October 5, 2015

The trophies have been ordered, the band is booked and we’ve bought some great prizes for the raffle.

We’re only a month away from the second ever Dance to Remember on Thursday November 5th. If you’ve reserved a place for your residents to attend the dance please be on the lookout for some emails with important information. If you have any questions you can contact us here.

None of this would be possible without our generous sponsors and supporters. Please be sure to thank them if you see them at the Dance and in our community:

A Dance to Remember 2015

Posted July 27, 2015

dance4 On Thursday November 5 we will be holding our second ‘Dance to Remember’. First held in 2013 this wonderful event was intended as a one-off but thanks to the generosity of our partner, St David’s Foundation, we are able to bring it back to our CASACA members .

The Dance will again be held in the beautiful Grand Ballroom at the Shoal Crossing Event Center. We couldn’t be more thrilled to return to this stunning venue.

The Dance will be held from 11am to 2pm and lunch is included.

dance5This is truly a Dance like no other. From the glamorous venue to a great live band, dance partners, formal portraits and special door prizes this is one your residents won’t want to miss. We encourage everyone to dress up to make the day feel even more special.

Space at Shoal Crossing is limited so reservations will be taken on a first come basis. Registration will open to CASACA members on August 3. Click here to register.

dance12If you would like to support the Dance in other ways, we are currently looking for volunteer dance partners. No dance experience is necessary, just a willingness to get out on the dance floor with our amazing residents! Please review the volunteer roles for more details. Send us a note if you’re interested.

We would also love to hear from you if you are able to donate door prizes. We can provide you with a list of ‘luxury’ items most requested by our residents, which can range from some simple jewelry to scents, candies or a gift certificate to a favorite restaurant.

Dancing into Summer!

Posted June 23, 2013

IMG_0189_webThanks to everyone that came to our Summer Dance on June 20. Over 80 residents came dressed for summer and everyone had their moment on the dance floor! Some never left the dance floor and how we wish we had their energy!

It helped to have great live music, performed by the amazing Backtrax. If you need a band for an event at your building, we highly recommend them.

Congratulations to our winners of Best Decorated Table and our newly crowned King and Queen. Our official photographer, Warren, took a lot of photos and we’ll have a selection at our next CASACA meeting (Tuesday July 2)  for you to look through.

And please thank Haley Koop of Marbridge for organizing the Dance. You make it look effortless but we know how much work goes into it.

We look forward to the next one. Stay tuned for more details.
