The Games for Life is the only event of its kind that is specifically adapted for residents of long term care. Residents from Central Texas nursing homes and assisted living facilities compete in six individual and team challenges, including balloon volleyball, racing, throwing, spelling and dominoes. Organized by CASACA (Capital Area Social & Activity Coordinators Association, Inc), the Games now take place in Austin, San Antonio and Dallas. Houston will be added in 2016.
