About CASACA
CASACA is a non-profit organization of activity professionals working in long-term care communities. Our mission is to suppport Activity Professionals in providing life enrichment opportunities to residents living in long term care. CASACA creates and promotes programs that give residents a sense of purpose and keep them connected to the communities they helped to build. We represent senior centers, nursing homes and assisted and independent living facilities in Austin and the surrounding areas.
The Games for Life are back!
And a new venue.
We’re thrilled to announce that CASACA’s signature event is finally coming back to Austin on Saturday October 12 2024. And we have a new venue – the Travis County Expo Center. Details and forms on the Games for Life page.
This incredible event brings together residents living in skilled nursing facilities to compete in games of skill, racing, crafts and more.
Register for ‘A Dance to Remember’
A Dance to Remember is back! We’re thrilled to have a new venue and we can’t wait to see you there. The Dance will be held on Thursday, November 7, from 11am-2:30pm, at Ben Hur Shriners Ballroom in Austin.
Registration is now open and spots are available on a first come basis. The Dance will sell out so don’t wait to register.
